In my opinion, the Google Glasses are the coolest things ever invented. The only downfall is that the glasses cost $1,500 and I will probably never get them, but it doesn't hurt to dream. They are the best kind of nerd clothing you can wear. Some of the features include GPS, Google Hangout, and the Internet. Here's how they work.

The Google Glasses use an efficient GPS navigation system. You can now use GPS wherever you want like while skiing, skydiving, and on a roller coaster. Now with Google Hangouts you can see the other person in the corner of your eye. You can now have business meetings on the go, but who wants that?

You're probably wondering if you can get these for a free release! Well, you missed the chance. The testing was last year. The testers got to keep their Google Glasses but it was the prototype and it still had some bugs in the programming. The 2nd version will come out in two years and will be less money. There are also plans to make a hologram version. You can get your prescription in them, too. So are you going to get your pair of glasses, or are you going to wait 10 years?

Ever since Windows 8’s last debut in October, all laptop manufacturers are building hybrid laptops/tablets. This laptop has two screens and a webcam on both sides. The starting price is $1,299. This tablet/laptop is an easy way to get from one screen to the other. When the owner closes it, it won’t go to tablet mode; the owner will be able to have the option/setting to change it that specific mode. On the other hand, the tablet screen can get damaged without a protective case on the one screen.

The hardware in this laptop is like any other laptop's hardware. When the laptop is closed and shut down, it looks pretty nice. There are many different ports; some of those ports are for USB, Ethernet, projector, and HDMI. Its operating system is going to be Windows RT. It will be running on Windows 8, and the owner can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. There is one good call for the outside screen; this good idea was to add a pen for the touch screen.

This product is going to have 4GB of ram. It will have high definition (HD) graphics. It could have 128GB up to 256GB of solid-state storage. It will take a couple of seconds to switch between screens. It has got a Intel Core i5 Processor. It looks great from both screens. It has perfect coloring on the two screens. It has terrible battery life. It is expensive as any other Apple product is. It is very light and thin. There is a solid gesture and touch response. However, the touchpad will have some problems.

The new Windows 8 software -- standard on all new computers -- has a few glitches. For one, the calendar does not know when December is. It is a common glitch in all computers. In the Windows phone it will often crash and the battery dies out quick. All electronics companies use the public to test new devices. This was not known until Steve Jackson tried to go to December. It didn’t work I would not recommend the Windows phone or Windows 8.

The iPad with retina display has many features such as zoom and built-in apps. This
iPad came out at same time as the iPad Mini. This iPad has some of the same features as
the iPad, iPad 2, and iPad 3. Some of these features are FaceTime chat and the zooming
in. With this iPad, anyone could record a video in HD. It would have 10 hours of battery
life. This iPad will go twice the speed as the other iPads. The graphics are even better
than before. Anyone who gets this iPad can take still photos with 5 mega-pixels. The
wireless connection is faster and this IPad has LTE. With Siri, the iPad is like your
personal assistant. There’s a new connector for this iPad. Air Play is an app that can put what
you’re watching on the TV.

The Nexus 7 by Google
By Hannah Rosser

If you've been on Google lately, you  might have seen a tablet at the bottom with a text above it that said "The playground is open. The new $199 tablet from Google." The tablet is nothing more than the Nexus 7, which just began to appear in stores. I had just found out about the Nexus 7 after my birthday, so I figured I'd pre-order the tablet and see what it was like.

The Nexus is basically an iPad mixed with a Kindle, which means it can be passed off as an eReader. Consumers have access to the Google Play Store (which is exactly like the App Store, except with widgets and other things; also with music and books) and the Android Document Manager. With the Document Manager, you're able to read Google Docs sent with Gmail, except you can't edit them. Users also have access to Google Wallets, which manages their Google Play purchases. They can also download content from the Internet, and also access television and movies. On the 'homepage' they can choose if they want just apps, covers of their downloaded magazines, books, music albums, etc. This is one of the few advantages the Nexus 7 has over the Apple iPad.

The Nexus 7 Google Tablet has access to plenty more; the things I happened to list were just small things. It was definitely worth coughing up $200, that's for sure. The screen and graphics in apps look like they're in HD (and they just might be). With all this new technology surfacing with new features, I can almost definitely say that Google will be coming out with a tablet that will work along side the Nexus 7. Only time will tell!

The new iPhone 5 has just came out and it's bigger than ever, literally.

The new iPhone 5 is ½ bigger than the iPhone 4 and has a new and enhanced SIRI. In other news, the iPad Mini is due to come out before Christmas. It is going to be about the size of a Kindle Fire.
It has an improved camera and voice recorder. It also has a new feature: panoramic view.
You move your phone and it will make it a longer picture.
